Job summary

Excel Realty Group in Beachwood, Ohio is seeking an experienced Real Estate Manager to assemble tax credit applications and finance new construction affordable housing. You will also oversee asset management for a portfolio of 21 apartment communities, monitoring rents, vacancies, expenses, and operating issues.

Additionally, you will participate in pre-construction development as a project manager, coordinate due diligence, permitting, plan development, and approvals, and manage document

Qualifications

• Background in Finance, Business Administration, Asset management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the real estate industry, tax credits and project management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail along with the ability to multitask.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tax credit applications to finance new construction affordable housing.
• Asset management of a portfolio of 21 apartment communities to monitor rent levels, vacancy, expense levels and operating issues.
• Involvement in pre-construction development as a project manager to track due diligence, permitting, plan development and project approvals.
• Maintain highly organized document control and process financing applications and due diligence materials.
• Close financing and real property transactions; knowledge of LIHTC and affordable housing preferred.
