Job summary

Ascent Developer Solutions LLC is seeking a Sales Associate to work on-site with our loan production team. You will collaborate with Loan Officers and Relationship Managers to nurture borrower relationships and help manage the loan pipeline from intake through closing.

You will support loan processes, perform documentation reviews, and engage borrowers to gather required materials while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service, focused on construction and bridge business purpose lending or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, and ideally SharePoint; adaptable to learning new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Management: assist Loan Officers and Relationship Managers in building sponsor and loan files, collecting conditions, managing loan processes, and communicating status updates to customers.
• Loan Support: provide ongoing support to Loan Officers and Relationship Managers throughout the life of a loan, including follow-ups with customers and document collection.
• Loan Structuring: possess basic knowledge of loan structuring, including front-end guidance, underwriting requirements, and loan products.
• Needs Assessment: develop a needs list based on loan structure and underwriting requirements.
• Documentation Review: examine files for red flags to ensure the package is sufficient and complete.
• Borrower Interaction: engage with borrowers to obtain initial documentation for submission to underwriting or portfolio management.
• Customer Centric: recommend and implement best practices to enhance customer experience.
• Assist with additional projects as assigned by Sales or Credit/Risk Management.
