Job summary

Ascent Developer Solutions is seeking a Director, Relationship Management to lead the RM function and drive performance across the loan lifecycle. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure exceptional borrower service and scalable operations, guiding analysts, officers, and staff in structuring complex loan opportunities.

You will oversee pipeline management, loan approvals, and cross-functional processes, with a focus on multi-family, homebuilder, and construction lending.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial real estate lending experience (SFR, multi-res residential, etc.).
• 5+ years leading client-facing lending or relationship management teams.
• Strong understanding of construction, bridge lending, underwriting, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Relationship Management team and set strategic direction.
• Oversee loan origination, structuring, and borrower documentation.
• Collaborate with Credit, Operations, and Exec Leadership to ensure smooth execution.
• Drive borrower satisfaction, pipeline management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and training standards.
