You will work with Investment Officers on new transactions, focusing on valuation, financial analysis, modeling, research, and site due diligence. The role requires 2–3 years in banking or financial services, 3–5 years total with a real estate focus, and proficiency in Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in banking/financial services.
• Three to five years total experience with two to three years in financial services focusing on real estate.
• Experience with real estate valuation and modeling.
• Experience evaluating a property's historical and projected financial cash flows.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with senior management and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate transaction requests and loan structure to maximize ROI.
• Perform valuations of underlying real estate assets.
• Identify merits, risks, and mitigants for each transaction.
• Construct and maintain real estate financial models and sensitivity analyses.
• Generate internal memoranda and draft term sheets.
• Perform industry, company, and market due diligence.
• Travel to sites across the United States for due diligence.
• Support legal documentation and closing of new transactions.
• Assist in origination activities leading to closings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
