Overview

• The Real Estate Finance team represents institutional lenders, investment funds, borrowers, developers, financial institutions, debt funds, and other market participants in sophisticated real estate financing transactions across the United States and internationally.
• The role involves structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing commercial real estate financing transactions, representing lenders and borrowers in acquisition, construction, bridge, permanent, mezzanine, and syndicated loan transactions.
• Responsibilities include assisting with the origination, purchase, sale, participation, syndication, and securitization of commercial mortgage loans, and supporting restructuring, workout, and distressed real estate finance matters as opportunities arise.
• The associate will conduct and manage transaction due diligence, draft and negotiate loan documents and ancillary transaction agreements, and work closely with clients and other transaction participants throughout all phases of a deal.
• The practice offers substantial client contact and early responsibility on complex, high-profile matters across multiple asset classes, including office, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, retail, mixed-use, residential, and development projects.
• Experience with construction lending, bridge financing, mezzanine financing, intercreditor matters, loan syndications, or CMBS-related transactions is highly desirable.
