Federal Capital Partners in Washington, DC is seeking an Associate/Sr. Associate to support the Investor Relations and Capital Formation team.

You will help shape capital strategy, coordinate with leadership, and translate market insights into actionable plans. The role involves preparing investor communications, building datasets, leading reporting cycles, and collaborating across disciplines to advance capital formation efforts.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant work experience in investor relations, fund accounting, or fund management.
• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials.
• SIE, Series 7, 63 and 66 preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong modeling of commercial real estate principles, market analysis, and valuation.
• Ability to translate quantitative data into strategic deliverables.
• Ability to read GAAP financial statements and cash flow reports.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Salesforce and Investran experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IR & Capital Formation strategy and implement priorities across the platform.
• Prepare and review investor communications including quarterly reports and inquiries.
• Coordinate with investment and asset management teams across the platform, and generate analysis that influences business development decisions.
• Lead capital raising reporting cycles for leadership use in strategic initiatives.
• Prepare investor due diligence deliverables (DDQs, RFPs, RFIs) and datasets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create, proofread and format internal and external presentations.
• Ensure CRM and reporting data integrity across investor tools.
