Job summary

The Meritex Company offers an internship with the Investments Team to support analytical underwriting and investment activities in the industrial real estate sector. Reporting to the Senior Investments Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience in evaluating direct equity, leveraged, joint venture, and other structured finance opportunities.

The internship runs Summer 2027 on a hybrid schedule designed to accommodate academic commitments, with compensation at $20/hour and eligibility for

Qualifications

Third- or fourth-year students pursuing Real Estate or Finance degrees, or graduate students, encouraged to apply.
Experience with financial models, cash flows, and IRR analysis.
Familiarity with Argus AE software preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with underwriting and investment analysis using Argus AE for industrial real estate deals across nine U.S. markets.
Tour potential investment opportunities in the Minneapolis metro area.
Prepare investment memoranda for deal pipeline and Investment Committee meetings.
Track sale comps and maintain the database.
Provide due diligence and analytical support for acquisitions and dispositions.
Conduct market research and interact with market participants.
Other duties as assigned.
