Job summary

MSGCU is seeking a Real Estate Funding Specialist to coordinate funding and post-closing activities for home equity, purchases and refinances. You will balance transactions, review closing documents for regulatory compliance, and board loans into servicing systems.

This role involves disbursing funds, processing payoffs, and ensuring accurate HUD/closing workflows. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of real estate funding or 2 years of lending experience, with FHA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year real estate funder/post-closer experience or 2 years real estate lending experience or related lending experience.
• FHA lending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates real estate funding and post-closing activities for home equity, purchases, and refinances.
• Balances mortgage transactions, processes payoffs, reviews closing documents for compliance.
• Boards loan into servicing system from Origination system; disburses and funds loans per disbursement date.
