Job summary

Bullpen is seeking a highly analytical FP&A Associate/Senior Associate to join its growing real estate platform in New York, NY. Reporting to the CFO, you will build and enhance financial planning, budgeting, and analysis across acquisitions, asset management, and property operations to drive portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or financial advisory experience.
• Experience within real estate ownership, operation, investment, or property management is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or cert is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/BI/reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and multi-year financial plans.
• Produce Actual vs. Plan reporting across consolidated and property-level P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Develop financial models to support business planning, growth, and capital allocation.
• Perform monthly financial statement analysis, variance analysis, and flux analysis.
• Identify operational and financial drivers behind portfolio performance and present insights to leadership.
