Vanderbilt University is seeking a Real Estate Accounting Analyst within the REFD to support Vanderbilt Real Estate (VURE) financial administration, lease accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

The role partners with VURE, BOC, Central Finance, Tax and third‑party property managers to deliver accurate financial results and strategic insights, using advanced Excel and PowerPoint for dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in real estate finance or related field.
• Experience with real estate accounting principles (ASC 842) preferred.
• Proficiency with lease management software.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilités

• Enter lease details, reconcile variances, and record monthly journal entries.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, and reconciliations.
• Act as financial liaison with affiliated property entities and manage reporting.
• Design dashboards and KPIs to monitor portfolio performance and occupancy.
