Job summary

Healthcare Realty is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Real Estate Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics for a national MOB portfolio. This in-office role at our Nashville headquarters offers exposure to REIT operations, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio-level decision-making within a public company.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically proficient, and capable of owning projects from inception through completion, with experience handling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years in FP&A, real estate finance, property accounting, asset management, CRE analytics, or related field.
• Experience with property-level budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, and variance analysis preferred.
• Medical office/office/retail or other CRE experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with large, complex data sets and translating data into actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for a national MOB portfolio.
• Maintain property-level financial models and forecasting tools; ensure accurate assumptions.
• Analyze actual results vs budget/forecast; identify drivers, trends, risks, opportunities.
• Support ad hoc financial modeling related to portfolio performance, leasing activity, occupancy, and OpEx.
• Partner with Asset Management and Accounting to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
• Prepare portfolio performance reports and KPI analyses for leadership.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality.
