Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in finance preferred; candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong motivation and a genuine willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
• Associate degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Excel required; prior exposure to financial modeling or time value of money concepts is preferred but not required, as training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Regular forecasting and budgeting
• Preparing ad-hoc reports and assisting with special projects as needed
• Project accounting
• Quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective real estate investments, as well as monitoring current investments
• Support the underwriting and structuring of equity and debt with financial institutions
• Preparation of pre- and post-construction insurance binders
• Direct communication with equity and lending institutions
• Performing other related duties as assigned
