Job summary

Housing Trust Group (HTG) seeks a Finance Coordinator to support equity, debt, and underwriting activities across acquisitions and development projects. The role interfaces with multiple HTG departments to move projects through all stages of development.

Entry-level salaried position with emphasis on a positive attitude toward change, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and ownership of process improvements. Training and growth opportunities available in real estate finance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in finance preferred; eager to learn and grow
• Proficiency in Excel required; training provided for advanced concepts
• Knowledge or experience in real estate finance is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Regular forecasting and budgeting
• Preparing ad-hoc reports and assisting with special projects
• Project accounting
• Due diligence on prospective real estate investments and monitoring existing investments
• Support underwriting and structuring of equity and debt with financial institutions
• Preparation of pre- and post-construction insurance binders
• Direct communication with equity and lending institutions
• Performing other related duties as assigned
