Job summary

Housing Trust Group seeks an Assistant Vice President of Finance to lead capital markets activities, debt and equity structuring, and investor relations for new developments and acquisitions in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee underwriting, financial modeling, and financing applications, coordinating across Development, Construction, Accounting, Asset Management, and Legal teams. A senior level in real estate finance with LIHTC experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, real estate, or related field.
• 4+ years in real estate finance with debt/equity structuring, closing, due diligence, and modeling.
• LIHTC experience (4% and/or 9%) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and closing of debt and tax credit equity for new developments.
• Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and public funding agencies as primary contact.
• Structure financing for LIHTC transactions (4% and 9%).
• Review term sheets, LOIs, loan documents, and partnership agreements with legal counsel.
• Oversee underwriting and financial analyses for acquisitions and developments.
