Job summary

HTG Housing Trust Group seeks a Senior Staff Accountant for Property Management to focus on real estate development, primarily LIHTC. This role reports to the Controller of Property Management and collaborates with accounting and property management staff to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

The position is responsible for producing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and developing controls and budgets to support senior management decisions and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years’ experience in property management accounting.
• Preference for CPA/CMA designations and LIHTC experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile revenues with rent rolls and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Assist with year-end audit schedules and external audits.
• Support process improvements and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
