Job summary

Housing Trust Group (HTG) seeks an Assistant Vice President of Finance to lead debt and equity structuring for new development, acquisitions, and stabilization across HTG's portfolio. You will partner with Development, Construction, Accounting, Asset Management, and Property Management teams and serve as a primary lender/investor interface.

This is a salaried, high-responsibility role requiring advanced financial modeling, deal closing, and strategic oversight, with exposure to tax credit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, real estate, or related field required; MBA or Master's in Real Estate preferred.
• 4-5+ years of experience in real estate finance with debt/equity structuring, closing financings, due diligence, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and closing of construction and permanent debt, bridge financing, and tax credit equity.
• Review term sheets, letters of intent, loan documents, and partnership agreements with legal counsel.
• Oversee financial models for acquisitions/developments and prepare investment memoranda for leadership.
• Monitor capital markets, interest rate and tax credit trends and advise on pipeline impact.
• Coordinate closures across departments and manage due diligence timelines.
