Job summary

Safe Hands Title, LLC is seeking an Escrow Officer to manage the escrow lifecycle for real estate transactions. You will coordinate between buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders to ensure smooth closings and accurate documentation.

You will review instructions and title documents, ensure regulatory compliance, disburse funds, and maintain detailed records. Excellent service and communication are essential to delivering a seamless experience for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in an escrow, title, or real estate environment with knowledge of real estate transactions.
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and best practices related to escrow.
• Proficiency in escrow management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the escrow process from opening to closing, including documentation and fund processing.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to ensure seamless transactions.
• Prepare and review escrow instructions, title documents, closing statements, and related documents.
• Ensure transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations; perform due diligence on documents, ownership, title, and liens.
• Disburse funds and ensure accurate, secure handling of financial transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions and guiding clients through the escrow process.
• Maintain organized records for auditing and reference; keep escrow system updated.
• Identify and resolve transaction issues promptly and efficiently.
