Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of real estate titles/closing experience.
• Proficiency with closing/title management software (Qualia).
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct the real estate division's workflow and operations, mentoring paralegals and staff.
• Review and analyze title abstracts, clear defects, and issue title commitments.
• Oversee closings from contract to post-closing, ensuring compliance with RI and federal rules.
• Serve as primary contact for brokers, lenders, buyers, and sellers to foster referrals and satisfaction.
• Ensure closing documents and deeds are accurate and timely.
• Evaluate and improve division procedures, using technology to enhance efficiency and client experience.
