Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) seeks a Project Manager to support adaptive reuse, ground-up development, and asset management for Yard properties in New York City.

The role involves budgeting, scheduling, funding analysis, and coordinating with city and state agencies to advance development and leasing initiatives. A background in real estate or economic development is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Basic financial modeling including pro forma cash flow and budgeting.
• Familiarity with public-private funding sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and advance pre-development tasks: site assessment, cost estimation, market study, feasibility analysis, and strategy formation.
• Create and manage project budgets and schedules, track financial performance and critical items.
• Forecast funding sources and uses, cash flow, and ROI across complex financing.
• Coordinate approvals with City, State and Federal agencies (DOB, SBS, PDC, ESDC, FEMA).
• Support procurement, evaluate proposals, and work with Legal and External affairs teams.
