Job summary

Exus Renewables is seeking a Real Estate Development Paralegal to support legal and development teams in securing site control for renewable energy projects. You will manage the lifecycle from ordering titles through closing, ensuring smooth and compliant progress across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include performing real estate due diligence, reviewing title policies and documents, negotiating curatives, coordinating with title companies, escrow, and external counsel, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a legal field or paralegal studies is required.
• 3+ years of real estate law experience, preferably in land development.
• Prior law firm experience and paralegal certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real estate due diligence for development sites and related records.
• Review title policies, vesting, encumbrances, and site control documents.
• Review and approve deeds, leases, easements, and related instruments.
• Negotiate curatives with title insurers and coordinate closing steps.
• Coordinate with title companies, escrow, and external counsel to close.
• Maintain detailed project records and liaise with internal/external partners.
