Type: Full Time

Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or development field. Extensive experience with multifamily projects is required.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate development opportunities. Create reports related to zoning, site planning, and overall project budget and timeline.
  • Manage due diligence process. Obtain third party reports related to environmental, geotech, and utilities.
  • Oversee concept design and evaluate sites for different development options and building types.
  • Assist in securing all required entitlements and approvals needed.
  • Oversee design team and ensure deadlines are met and design meets owners’ requirements for the development.
  • Review civil, engineering, architectural and design plans to drive quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Contract and coordinate all consultants needed during the design/documentation phase.
  • Coordinate interior finish selections and track related submittals throughout construction.
  • Assist with general contractor selection process including writing RFP and evaluating bids.
  • Manage value engineering process including evaluating opportunities and coordinating implementation.
  • Manage design team throughout construction process and ensure all information is provided in a timely manner.
  • Monitor construction process including regular site visits.
  • Review RFIs and Submittals to ensure information meets owners’ requirements for the development.
  • Evaluate and negotiate any cost events with the construction provider.
  • Track project costs including subcontract buyout and change events.
  • Assist in project close out, including punch-list process and municipality approval of escrowed sitework.
