Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Development Associate to join our Cincinnati team in an in-office role. You will support due diligence, market research, budgeting, entitlement analysis, and investment offering preparation to help advance development opportunities.

Working with engineers, architects, consultants and the NorthPoint team, you’ll track schedules, manage consultant bids, coordinate permits, and support budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, or real estate.
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Strong interpersonal communicator.
• Energetic, resourceful and hands-on with a service orientation.
• Detail focused with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support initial project due diligence, including opportunity evaluation, entitlement analysis, market research, budgeting and investment offering preparation.
• Assist in creating, tracking, and managing development schedules and land/permit timelines.
• Coordinate consultants (civil, environmental, geotechnical, etc.) and bid analysis.
• Manage bid processes and bid comparisons for consultants and contractors.
• Ensure timely permit submittals, responses and progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Track development budgets, schedules and reporting across the project lifecycle.
