Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Development Associate to support early-stage due diligence, budgeting, entitlements, market research, and investment offering preparation. The role collaborates with the internal team to advance projects from due diligence through permitting and closing.

You will coordinate with consultants and internal staff, manage schedules and budgets, track approvals, and help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or real estate.
• A PE license is an asset, but not required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a relevant position.

Responsibilities

• Support initial project due diligence work including opportunity evaluation and market research.
• Assist development schedules from due diligence to land closing and permits.
• Coordinate with consultants (civil, environmental, geotechnical) and track bids.
• Organize scope identification and bid analysis for pre-construction site work.
• Facilitate progress meetings with stakeholders throughout development.
