Job summary

Northpoint Development, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Development Associate to join our in-office team. You will support due diligence, market research, budget planning, and schedule management throughout the development lifecycle.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors, manage bids, track progress, and help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or real estate.
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Strong interpersonal communicator.
• Energetic, resourceful, and hands-on with a strong service orientation.
• Detail-focused with great organizational skills.
• Able to work collaboratively as a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal project team with initial due diligence, opportunity evaluation, market research, and budget establishment.
• Assist in development schedules including due diligence, entitlements, design, permitting, and land closing.
• Coordinate with consultants (civil, environmental, geotechnical, etc.).
• Organize bid scopes and analyze bids from consultants and contractors for pre-construction site prep.
• Manage consultants and ensure timely permit submittals and responses.
• Lead progress meetings with project stakeholders throughout development.
• Assist with tracking project finances and updating budgets.
