Job summary

CREN, based in New York, NY, seeks a Development Associate to support front-end underwriting and execution of a real estate development pipeline. You will bridge feasibility analysis with day-to-day project coordination, helping prepare materials for internal review and lender collaboration.

Based in New York, you will coordinate budgets, schedules, and key risk items as projects move from diligence into preconstruction and financing, while managing external consultants and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Experience building pro forma models and sensitivity analyses.
Familiarity with site diligence and feasibility studies.
Ability to coordinate complex development workflows with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support development opportunity sourcing, including initial feasibility and site diligence.
Build and maintain pro forma models and sensitivities to evaluate returns.
Prepare investment committee materials and internal deal memos for approvals.
Coordinate entitlement and permitting workflows with internal and external consultants.
Support design and preconstruction activities, including budgeting and scheduling.
Track deliverables, timelines, and risks across third-party teams.
Maintain development budgets, schedules, and dashboards; monitor variances.
Assist with financing and capital stack coordination and lender materials.
