Job summary

Terra, a Miami-based real estate development firm, seeks a Development Associate to support the Senior Development Manager from inception to completion. You will coordinate consultants, assist in underwriting, and help manage budgets, schedules, and permits to drive project success.

You will work with finance, leasing, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure timely deliverables, mitigate risks, and maintain project controls across multiple development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Economics or Real Estate is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Blue Beam is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Development Manager with executing the company’s development project pipeline from inception to completion.
• Coordinate consultants and internal teams to obtain entitlements and building permits.
• Assist in underwriting deals and creating financial models for project costs, revenues, and returns.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and execution strategies for entitlements, design development, and permits.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans; implement action plans.
• Maintain due diligence files and coordinate with finance on due diligence efforts.
• Coordinate market research with finance, leasing, and marketing teams.
• Manage design team selection and development drawings for budgeting and scope.
• Track project progress against budgets, timelines, and objectives; report variances.
