Job summary

Carmel Partners seeks an Analyst, Acquisitions & Development in its New York Office to evaluate and execute acquisition, development, and debt opportunities across markets. You will underwrite investments, build pro formas, and support entitlements and financing through the lifecycle of multifamily projects.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in real estate investment, strong Excel skills, and a Bachelor’s in finance or real estate.

Responsibilities

• Analyze acquisition, development, and debt opportunities and assess projections and rents.
• Prepare and maintain valuation models and pro formas for investment decisions.
• Coordinate due diligence, entitlements, financing, and construction for transactions.
• Prepare market analyses, rent comps, and economic indicators reports.
• Assist with closing transactions and documentation with internal teams and advisors.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, and development team meetings.
