Job summary

Mesa College seeks a full-time Real Estate instructor to deliver lower-division coursework and supervise the Real Estate program. The position requires leading curriculum, updating content per regulatory changes, and mentoring students to meet licensing and career goals.

Responsibilities include teaching across modalities, maintaining syllabi, and participating in governance and advisory activities to support student success and regional workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions.
• California Real Estate License (Broker preferred).
• Experience with online/hybrid instruction and educational technology preferred.
• Ability to lead program review, curriculum development, and equipment planning.

Responsibilities

• Teach core real estate subjects using lecture, case studies, and labs.
• Deliver instruction face-to-face, online (Canvas LMS), and hybrid formats.
• Integrate educational technology and industry platforms to support learning.
• Maintain syllabi and instructional materials in line with state regulations.
• Provide faculty leadership for Real Estate program and curriculum review.
• Coordinate scheduling, governance, and advisory activities.
