Job summary

Houston Community College is seeking an adjunct Instructor in Real Estate to support the college curriculum and student success. You will teach courses, develop syllabi, advise students, and participate in department activities across multiple sites and modalities.

The position requires an active Texas Real Estate Salesperson license with years of experience and the ability to adapt to diverse learners, maintain records, and use technology in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or higher degree in Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, Community Development, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Appraisal, or other Business-related degrees required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in qualifying fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and develop syllabi compliant with program guidelines.
• Provide academic advising and support to students during class and office hours.
• Develop LMS shells for assigned courses and use instructional technology.
• Participate in department, college, and community service activities.
• Review and select textbooks and learning materials to support curriculum.
