Working Title Adjunct Faculty

Recruitment Limits

Location: District Wide

Pay Information: Salary placement contingent upon receipt of official transcripts and verifications of previous work experience. Instructors with advanced coursework or experience will be placed on the appropriate class and step on the Adjunct College Salary Schedules effective the first month following receipt of all required documentation. Initial placement will be at the first class/step until all documentation is submitted.

The Position

Part‑time/temporary faculty positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to assist a diverse group of adult students in achieving their educational goals. Positions may include day, evening, weekend, and/or off‑campus classes.

Major Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics, and keep current knowledge in subject matter areas.
• Provide quality instruction, fostering an environment that encourages discussion.
• Maintain accurate records and be available to students outside of class.
• Teach all scheduled classes and fulfill professional responsibilities of a part‑time faculty member.

Minimum Qualifications

• Any bachelor’s degree AND two (2) years of experience; OR
• Any associate degree AND six (6) years of experience; OR
• Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Real Estate; OR
• Equivalent qualifications.

Desired Qualifications

Equivalent credentials or pending degrees may be considered upon submission of a Request for Equivalency Form.

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials

California Community College Instructor Credential in Real Estate (valid for life) if possessed.
