Job summary

McMichael & Gray, PC is seeking a Closer in Birmingham, AL to manage closing document preparation, funding coordination, and final review of mortgage loan information. The role ensures accurate disclosures, timely funding, and secure handling of closing documents.

Experience with closing processes and lender coordination is preferred. You will assemble package contents for delivery to title companies and lenders, verify funds, and confirm all documents are properly executed for post-closing

Responsibilities

• Final review of mortgage loan information and preparing closing documents.
• Fund/coordinate disbursement and ensure closing documents are accurate and complete.
• Assemble documents for delivery to title company, real estate broker, or lending officer for closing.
• Verify disclosures and balance Closing Disclosure with lender prior to closing.
• Coordinate funding authorization and disbursement processes with lender.
• Ensure all lien payoffs, taxes, HOA and other items are paid at closing.
• Review and ensure documents are properly executed and securely presented.
