Job summary

Trueline Talent is representing a boutique real estate and business law firm in Charlotte, NC, seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Paralegal to manage residential and commercial closings from start to finish. This full-file role emphasizes quality and ownership over a high-volume pace.

You will own each file from title opinion through closing statement, with growth potential into contract review and drafting, in a detailed, client-focused practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of real estate closing experience (residential or commercial).
• Experience preparing closing statements and deeds.
• Experience coordinating closings with lenders, buyers, sellers, and agents.
• Ability to manage a closing file from start to finish.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
• Strong written communication by email.
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn.
• Ability to work in the Charlotte, NC office, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial closings from start to finish.
• Review title information and prepare preliminary title opinions.
• Prepare Closing Disclosures and HUD-1 or settlement statements.
• Prepare deeds and other closing documents.
• Coordinate closings with lenders, buyers, sellers, and other parties.
• Track deadlines, conditions, and requirements to keep files on schedule.
• Support attorney review of general commercial contracts and assist with drafting.
• Keep accurate, organized files and communicate clearly with clients and outside parties.
• Help shape a closing practice built on quality, accuracy, and ownership.
