Job summary

The Bancorp Bank is seeking an Analyst, Commercial Mortgage Asset Management to oversee asset management activities across a portfolio of commercial mortgage loans, including draw requests, loan-level analysis, documentation review, and servicing functions.

The role supports capital markets due diligence, coordinates information flow, and serves as a secondary contact for borrowers and servicers, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of commercial real estate finance experience.
• Bridge lending experience is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of real estate finance structuring, documentation, and servicing is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Works effectively in a team-oriented, multitasking environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reviews loan documents to confirm terms and structural features align with company policies, applying structural concepts as appropriate.
• Performs independent loan surveillance and asset management activities to confirm loan and property conditions, reviewing balance sheets and cash flows, re-underwriting when applicable.
• Manages draw requests for funds held back for capital improvements, leasing, and other asset management activities.
• Monitors borrower performance to confirm compliance with loan terms and conditions.
• Compiles corporate reporting deliverables, including monthly delinquency reporting.
• Serves as a secondary point of contact for borrowers and servicers, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
• Maintains awareness of current and upcoming loan activity through loan committee participation.
• Supports due diligence for capital markets transactions, tracking and coordinating information flow.
