Job summary

Regions Bank in Atlanta, GA seeks a Real Estate Banking Associate to support senior bankers, build client relationships, and execute financing solutions for income property and homebuilder finance. You will develop financial models, prepare client materials, and participate in due diligence and client meetings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, plus 3 years of real estate banking experience and formal credit training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required or preferred.
• MBA preferred for advancement within Real Estate Banking.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior bankers in their relationship responsibilities, including idea generation and interaction with current and prospective clients
• Maintains proprietary databases through monitoring news, current events, transactions and financial information for clients, prospects, and other industry participants
• Understands client needs and identifies Regions products and services, or other unique, actionable ideas that can help clients achieve their goals
• Develops and maintains detailed financial models to value companies and depict projected financial results
• Ensures high quality of client deliverables by having strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Assists in the preparation of written material, including pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
• Conducts extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
• Participates in the recruitment, development, training, and oversight of junior resources
