The position requires a strong background in real estate underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management, plus a corporate credit training program or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7 years real estate underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
• Corporate credit training program or equivalent experience.
• Strong loan structuring knowledge and market awareness.
• Financial analysis experience.
• Relationship management experience in a banking context.
• Legal documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the credit process on opportunities including structuring, underwriting, loan documentation/negotiation, and closing.
• Maintains market knowledge of loan pricing, structural trends, and emerging risks within real estate sectors.
• Attends calls with coverage bankers to understand clients’ needs and strategy.
• Collaborates with coverage bankers to develop strategies and deliver credit solutions.
• Serves as primary contact with Credit Risk and presents loan requests for approval or modification.
• Coordinates with deal team during closing with various internal/external groups and clients.
• Supports coverage banker around client selectivity meeting Regions’ risk profile.
• Works with associates to address issues in loan servicing and monitoring; leads modifications if needed.
• Oversees all Credit Servicing activities of portfolio when designated.
