Job summary

Distinct | North America, a well-established mid-sized law firm in New York City, seeks an experienced Partner to join its Real Estate Practice. You will lead complex transactions, provide strategic counsel, and mentor junior attorneys while expanding the firm’s client base.

You will develop business with developers, investors, financial institutions and corporations, collaborate across practice areas, and contribute to the firm's leadership and growth. Hybrid work in NYC.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
• 10+ years of experience in real estate law, preferably at a reputable firm.
• Ability to originate and grow client relationships.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The incoming Partner will play a key role in expanding and strengthening the real estate group, working with a diverse client base that includes developers, investors, financial institutions, and corporations. You will lead on complex real estate transactions, provide strategic counsel, and mentor junior attorneys, while contributing to the firm’s overall business development strategy.

Requirements:

Qualified candidate can expect a base salary range of $3750,000 to $500,000 base, plus bonuses. Final salary will be based on a number of factors, Academic background and qualifications, length of experience, and other job related factors. Full time employees are eligible for discretionary bonuses and full access to the firms employee benefits package.
