Keystone Distinction Group in New York is actively recruiting a Real Estate Associate Attorney for an AmLaw 100 global law firm. Hybrid work setup with a team of 80+ real estate attorneys nationwide to handle high-value transactions.

The successful candidate will hold a JD from a top-tier law school, be admitted to the New York Bar, and have 2–5 years of substantive real estate transactional experience, including financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing (or within one year).
• 2-5 years of substantive real estate transactional experience.
• Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in real estate financings, acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing, and joint ventures.
• Prior experience at a large law firm or sophisticated real estate practice is highly preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Collaborative mindset, professionalism, and enthusiasm for client service.

Responsibilities

• Support senior attorneys in structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of real estate transactions, including financing, acquisition, development, and joint venture matters.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate closing processes for complex real estate deals.
• Prepare and review key transactional documents such as loan agreements, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and joint venture agreements.
• Advise clients on real estate and financing matters, delivering practical, business-oriented guidance.
• Collaborate across practice groups, including corporate and tax, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients’ real estate projects.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through responsiveness and high-quality work.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $235,000 – $365,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
