Job summary

Sonar,a boutique law firm, seeks an experienced commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its transactional practice in a fully remote role in the United States. You will independently manage deals, advise on structure and risk, and maintain client relationships while handling sophisticated matters across owners, developers, investors, and lenders.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record of handling CRE transactions end-to-end, with the ability to bring a portable book of business and work

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across acquisitions, leasing, and finance.
• Excellent judgment, responsiveness, and attention to detail in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters.
• Draft and negotiate purchase/sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and related transaction documents.
• Manage title, survey, due diligence, and closing requirements, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other parties.
• Advise clients on transaction structure, risk allocation, and practical solutions to move deals forward.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, contribute portable business, and collaborate with colleagues on firm-generated matters.
