Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract review skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple transactions in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills.
• Experience with environmental, land use, or construction-related matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and financing documents.
• Manage real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development transactions from inception through closing.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, and identify and resolve transaction-related issues.
• Advise clients on commercial real estate matters, risk management, and strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Support matters involving land use, environmental, and construction-related issues as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships while delivering practical, business-focused legal solutions.

Performance Expectations:

• Annual billable hour requirement of 1600 hours

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $350,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
