Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services seeks a Real Estate Associate (Mid-Level) to join its highly regarded practice in Dallas or Salt Lake City. You will handle broad commercial real estate transactions with emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development matters.

JD from a US law school and admission in TX or UT (or willingness to waive in) are required. The role offers strong training, collaborative culture, and hybrid flexibility within a top Am Law 100 firm.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and/or finance.
• Strong drafting skills across PSAs, leases, loan docs, and development agreements.
• JD from a US law school with strong academic credentials; admitted in TX or UT (or willing to waive in).

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, and development-related contracts
• Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions involving office, retail, mixed-use, and resort properties

Location: Dallas, TX or Salt Lake City, UT

Experience: 3–5 Years PQE | Commercial Real Estate & Finance

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate (3–5 years PQE) to join its highly regarded practice in either Dallas or Salt Lake City. This role involves a broad scope of commercial real estate transactions with a strong emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development matters.

About The Team

This is a dynamic, collaborative real estate group advising institutional investors, developers, and lenders on deals involving office, mixed-use, hospitality, retail, and multi-family assets. The team is known for its positive culture, high-quality training, and exposure to sophisticated national transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, and development-related contracts
• Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions involving office, retail, mixed-use, and resort properties
• Conduct due diligence including review of title, surveys, and property agreements
• Support real estate financing transactions and joint venture formations

Who You Are

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and/or finance
• Strong drafting skills across PSAs, leases, loan docs, and development agreements
• Experience with real estate development or JV work is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
• JD from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
• Admitted in Texas or Utah (or willing to waive in)

Compensation

Salary Range: $260,000 – $350,000 (DOE)
