Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney in the Dallas office. The attorney will handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions for developers, institutional investors, REITs, lenders, landlords, and tenants.

The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years of transactional experience, strong drafting skills, and the ability to independently manage complex matters while collaborating with multi-disciplinary deal teams.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a sophisticated law firm.
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, leases, development agreements, easements, and other real estate documents.
• Experience coordinating title and survey review, zoning and land use analysis, due diligence, and closings.

Responsibilities

• Represent developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, REITs, lenders, landlords, tenants, and real estate owners in sophisticated transactions.
• Draft and negotiate real estate agreements across acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and developments.
• Coordinate due diligence, title/ survey review, and closings across complex real estate matters.

A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, REITs, landlords, tenants, lenders, and corporate clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

Ideal Background

• 4-7+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
• Experience handling complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, and development transactions
• Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, REITs, lenders, landlords, tenants, and other commercial real estate owners and operators
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, leases, development agreements, easements, and other real estate transaction documents
• Experience conducting and coordinating title and survey review, zoning and land use analysis, due diligence, transaction management, and closings
• Experience with a variety of commercial asset classes, including office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, and development projects
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while collaborating with multidisciplinary deal teams
• Significant client interaction and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
