The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CRE experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and is admitted to the Texas bar or able to be admitted. Hybrid work arrangement in Dallas is available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CRE transactional experience at a large or sophisticated firm.
• Experience with CRE acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing.
• Representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, REITs, and other market participants.
• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, loan documents, leases.
• Due diligence, title and survey review, and closings.
• Experience with real estate joint ventures and complex financing preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted.

Compensation

$260,000 – $435,000+

A leading international law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, investors, lenders, private equity sponsors, and other institutional clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a large or sophisticated law firm
• Experience handling a broad range of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing transactions
• Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, REITs, and other market participants
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transaction documentation
• Experience managing due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction closings
• Experience with real estate joint ventures, development projects, and complex financing transactions is preferred
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and assume significant responsibility
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
