Job summary

Inland Family of Companies, a Colliers Wisconsin affiliate, is seeking an Accountant for a premier Milwaukee client location. You will manage tenant AR, rent billing, AP processing, and vendor communications, while supporting month-end closes and project cost reporting.

This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work with MRI or Yardi systems. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on a complex real estate portfolio, helping with budget prep, CAM reconciliations,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or accreditation in accounting required.
• At least one year of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with MRI or Yardi is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle tenant accounts receivable, including rent billing and related charges.
• Process accounts payable, including invoice entry and vendor communication.
• Manage payment approvals and collaborate with internal teams.
• Assist with construction draw processes, lien waiver review, and job cost reporting.
• Record payments, track project status, and analyze financial activity.
• Support monthly close activities and prepare recurring reports.
