Job summary

Inland Family of Companies and Colliers Wisconsin is seeking an Accountant to join the team in downtown Milwaukee. You will manage tenant accounts receivable, handle accounts payable via AVID, support monthly close, and assist with budget and CAM reconciliations for a complex real estate portfolio.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or accreditation from a two-year program with an emphasis in accounting is required.
• At least one year of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle tenant accounts receivable including rent billing, work orders, utilities, and other charges.
• Process accounts payable including invoice entry, coding, and vendor communication using AVID.
• Manage payment approvals through the PO system and collaborate with internal teams.
• Assist with construction draw processes, lien waivers, and job cost reporting.
• Record payments, track project status, and help analyze financial activity.
• Support monthly close activities, accruals, and reports such as A/R commentary and dashboards.
