Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of 5 years of accounting experience; CPA a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret business documents and respond to inquiries.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; Yardi experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and evaluate accountants, and oversee scheduling and staffing needs for the accounting team
• Review financial packages, general ledger activity, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet support schedules for a portfolio of assets
• Oversee cash management, distributions, contribution requests, and timely processing of critical payments
• Manage annual processes including 1099 filings, budget input, audit request coordination, and CAM/real estate tax escalation calculations
