A growing real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting functions. The role requires overseeing all accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and collaborating with external auditors. An ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA license, and over 5 years of relevant experience. This full-time position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, requiring on-site collaboration within a professional environment focused on growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within real estate or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing accounting systems and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly close processes.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
