Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required.
• 5+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience preferred, with exposure to development, construction, or multi-entity real estate ops.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience completing month-end closes and preparing financial statements independently.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel; experience with accounting systems, integrations, or automation is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own GL and month-/quarter-/year-end close for operating company and entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet schedules.
• Reconcile inter-company balances and related-party activity.
• Maintain project-level accounting for land, development costs, and operating properties.
• Support lease accounting, debt schedules, and dispositions; assist with audits and tax coordination.
