Overview

Our client, a leading residential real estate company, is adding an Accounting Manager. Real estate industry experience is strongly required. Must have experience managing an accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Common Area Maintenance (CAM) accounting
• Budgets, financial analysis
• Develops, communicates, and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures
• Assigns duties and examines work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Hands-on: performs accounting duties including payroll, cash flow, and reconciliation
• Overseeing general ledger closing for all properties
• Scheduling
• Review of journal entries and schedules
• Direct full general ledger responsibility for 10+ properties
• Property management and/or residential construction experience a plus
• Directly manages all employees in the accounting department

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting; CPA/MBA a plus
