Job summary

The Muransky Companies in Boardman, OH is seeking a Real Estate Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting, GL maintenance, and financial reporting across our property portfolio. You will handle multi-entity close cycles, property-level statements, and variance analysis to support executive decision-making.

In-office, full-time role requiring GAAP proficiency, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• Solid comprehension of GAAP, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple legal entities, properties, and shifting deadlines.
• Full-time, in-office attendance (not remote or hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Month-end close workflows and property-level financial reporting.
• Prepare bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Track fixed assets and depreciation; manage acquisitions/dispositions and tenant improvements.
• Review tenant billings, process vendor invoices, track rent collections, and audit aging reports.
• Assist in building annual property budgets and data packages for audits and tax reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline internal control workflows and improve accounting software use.
