Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Powell, OH on-site role with a leading real estate investment firm. The candidate will own multi-entity accounting, lease and acquisitions accounting, and fixed assets while coordinating with a seasoned finance team.

Required are strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and at least 5 years in accounting. Familiarity with Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio is a plus; CPA or advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master's degree or CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, multi-entity experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-entity accounting operations.
• Handle lease and acquisitions accounting with accurate recording and compliance.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations and eliminations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with departments for timely financial reporting.
• Assist with audits and tax preparations.
• Refine accounting processes for efficiency and control.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
